About The Grove

The Grove is a luxury home community in the Scripps Ranch region of San Diego, California. Residents enjoy the great outdoors with a reservoir and open preserved space nearby.

The Grove offers several floor plans with two to three bedrooms and living space that ranges from 1,150 to 1,720 square feet. The largest homes also have an extra bedroom or retreat. Prices here are often in the million dollar range. Residents enjoy the beautiful landscape and many eucalyptus trees.

The San Diego Unified School District is the second largest in the state. Students attend many highly ranked facilities like Jerabek Elementary School, Marshall Middle School, and Scripps Ranch High School. There are hundreds of private institutions like the Calvary Christian Academy, Escondido Adventists Academy, the Montessori American School, and Halstrom Academy. Public universities include the University of California (UCSD) and San Diego State University (SDSU) as well as the San Diego Community College District.

Miramar Lake offers fishing, boating, and picnicking. There is also a trail that is five miles long and wraps around the lake. Visitors enjoy the panoramic views of the northern communities, Miramar, Mira Mesa, and University City. To the south is the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and to the east is the Sycamore Canyon Open Space Preserve which is popular for hiking because of its rolling hills and canyons.

There are several golf venues but to the north you’ll find the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club. Besides practice facilities and a fully equipped golf shop, this club features a Ron Fream course. Banquet facilities as well as a bar and restaurant are available.

San Diego is California’s second largest city and the nation’s eighth. Its economy relies on tourism, manufacturing, international trade, and military defense related activities.
